Odisha records five more COVID-19 deaths, 393 new positive cases

Bhubaneswar ,13/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )-  Odisha recorded five more COVID-19 deaths and 393 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The deceased have been identified as a 59-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, a 64-year-old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Bilateral Cellulitis of leg & Diabetes Mellitus, a 58-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Cerebrovascular accident & Hypertension, a 68-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Hypertension and a 59-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Sjogren’s Syndrome.

The COVID death toll of the state now stands at 1,087.

The positive cases are from Angul: 47, Balasore: 21, Bargarh: 26, Bhadrak: 3, Balangir: 2, Boudh: 1, Cuttack: 24, Deogarh: 5, Dhenkanal: 3, Ganjam: 14, Jagatsinghpur: 2, Jajpur: 16, Jharsuguda: 18, Kalahandi: 7, Kandhamal: 2, Kendrapada: 7, Keonjhar: 7, Khurda: 39, Malkangiri: 1, Mayurbhanj: 26, Nawarangpur: 4,  Nayagarh: 5, Nuapada: 13, Puri: 14, Rayagada: 6, Sambalpur: 27, Sundargarh: 44 and State Pool: 9.

 The total number of positive cases of the state rose to 323757.
