Bhubaneswar, 02/09/2025 (Odisha Samachar/Dipti Ranjan Kanungo) – Permission has been given to start the enrollment process for 100 MBBS seats in Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College, Talcher and Phulbani Government Medical College, Kandhamal from the academic year 2025-26.

This is a matter of great joy for Odisha. For this, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Shri JP Nada Ji.

The Chief Minister expressed the hope that this historic step will not only create new opportunities in the field of foreign education in the state, but will also further strengthen the healthcare system in the entire Odisha, especially in Talcher and Kandhamal, and ensure affordable and quality healthcare for our people.
