Bhubaneswar, 01/01/2021 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty) : Odisha registered three more COVID deaths and 245 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The COVID death toll mounted to 1876.

The deceased have been identified as a 60-year-old female of Bhubaneswar, a 61-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus and a 22-year-old male of Nabarangapur district.

The positive cases are from Angul: 32, Balasore: 5, Bargarh: 14, Bhadrak: 6, Balangir: 9, Boudh: 1, Cuttack: 15, Deogarh: 1, Dhenkanal: 1, Jagatsinghpur: 4, Jajpur: 15, Jharsuguda: 9, Kalahandi: 3, Kandhamal: 2, Kendrapada: 8, Keonjhar: 1, Khurda: 19, Mayurbhanj: 17, Nayagarh: 2, Nuapada: 5, Rayagada: 1, Sambalpur: 35, Sonepur: 1, Sundargarh: 34 and State Pool: 5.

The positive tally surged to 329866.
