Cuttack,26/01/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Umesh Kumar Seth, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO), Kelendapali GP and in-charge PEO, Keseipali GP under Bhatli Block, Dist. Bargarh, his (1) residential house at Bhatli, Dist. Bargarh, (2) house at native village Launsara, PS-Ambabhona, Dist. Bargarh, and (3) office rooms at Kelendapali GP and Keseipali GP were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 25.1.2021 by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.
In course of search and inventory, Sri Umesh Kumar Seth, PEO has been found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,27,08,369/- (Rupees One Crore Twenty-seven Lakhs Eight Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-nine) including one triple-storied building, eighteen numbers of plots, three numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different Banks, investment in Insurance policies, gold and silver ornaments, cash and household articles.
During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Seth and his family members.

| Total | Rs. | 1,27,08,369/- |
Thus, the total assets unearthed so far from the possession of Sri Umesh Kumar Seth, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) and his family members have been calculated as Rs.1,27,08,369/- (Rupees One Crore Twenty-seven Lakhs Eight Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-nine).
