SRI JIBARDHAN SETH, FORMER ACSO, SAMBALPURCONVICTED IN DA CASE.

Cuttack,22/9/2025 ( Odisha Samachar )-Today i.e. on 22.09.2025, Sri Jibardhan Seth, Former Asst. Civil Supplies Officer (Retired), Sambalpur, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) of PC Act, 1988 for possessing disproportionate assets (DA), was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bargarh and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 2 years and fine.

Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Sri Jibardhan Seth, Former ACSO (Retired), Sambalpur following his conviction.

Sri D.B. Patel, Ex-Inspector, Vigilance, SambalpurDivision had investigated the case and Sri Gourmohan Dash &Sri RabinarayanBhoi, Spl. PPs Vigilance, Bargarh jointly conductedthe case on behalf of the prosecution.
