Bhubaneswar,21/4/2025 ( Odisha Samachar / Rajat Mohapatra )- The Gram Panchayat level joint public grievance hearing camp was held in the premises of Amanakuda Gram Panchayat office under Balipatna block of Khordha district today. The grievance was held under the direct supervision of Khordha Collector Shri Chanchal Rana in the presence of Jayadev MLA Shri Naba kishor Mallick, local Zilla Parishad member, Sarpanch and other senior officials. Hearing of public grievances was started at 7AM and all arrangements were made for the public keeping an eye on current heat conditions in the state.
The collector along with other officers gave a patient hearing to the people and issued necessary instructions to officers concerned for early resolution of their problems. A total of 523 grievances were received today. Of these, 479 complaints were individual ones while 33 were community complaints. Five of these grievances were addressed promptly on the spot. The District Collector directed the concerned officers to provide financial assistance of 85 thousand to five persons from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and ten thousand to a person from the District Red Cross Fund.
Among others, ADM, Bhubaneswar Shri Rudra Narayan Mohanty, Sub-Collector Dr. Manoranjan Sahu, Zilla Parishad Chief Development Officer Shri Jyoti Sankar Sahu, BDO Smruti Pragya Priyadarshini, Tahsildar Kalpana Das, District Education Officer Sonamika Ray, Deputy Collector Artatran Mallick, Assistant Collector Bhubaneswari Kanhar, Additional DCP Krushna Chandra Das and Smt. Aarti Giri among others were present on the occasion.
