DR RAGHU SHARMA, RAJASTHAN HEALTH MINISTER APPLAUDS SAINT-GOBAIN INDIA’S COVID RELIEF WORK; DEDICATES TO THE STATE, OXYGEN GENERATION PLANT DONATED BY SAINT GOBAIN

– The oxygen generation plant costs INR 2.5 Cr and supports 200 beds

Jaipur, India, 18/8/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- : Dr. Raghu Sharma, Hon’ble Health Minister of Rajasthan inaugurated Oxygen generation plant (to support 200 beds) at MahilaChikitsalaya in Jaipur city. The plant was donated by Saint-Gobain as part of its COVID relief support to the state of Rajasthan. The Health Minister highly praised Saint-Gobain India for stepping up and complementing the efforts of the Government during these unprecedented testing times.

Commenting on the relief efforts, Mr Eisenhower Swaminathan, Managing Director, Saint-Gobain India – Glass Solutions, said, “As a responsible corporate, Saint-Gobain stands together with the nation in this hour of need. For us, health, well-being and safety are of utmost priority. We are grateful to join hands with the Government of Rajasthan, to extend our support to the community in fighting the pandemic. We will continue to support the government, healthcare workers to amplify COVID relief.

Saint-Gobain India is committed to protecting the lives of local communities and healthcare workers, which is aligned to the organisation’s purpose of ‘Making the World A better home’. The Oxygen plant for Mahila Chikitsalaya, Sanganeri Gate, Jaipur will cater around 200 beds at a time. This fully automated, state of the art plant costing INR 2.5 Crs has been airlifted from France with the support of the French Government and the French embassy in India.

Apart from the oxygen generation plant, the company is committed to supporting the state of Rajasthan with COVID relief aid comprising of oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, PPE kits and other vital medical equipment and supplies
