Cuttack,03/03/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Santosh Kumar Sahu, Assistant Teacher, Patharghat Upper Primary School, PS. Birmaharajpur, Dist. Subarnapur, his residential double-storey building along with two under construction single-storey buildings and market complex at village Baghmari, PS. Birmaharajpur, Dist. Subarnapur and another residential double-storey building at village Kenjhariapali, PS. Birmaharajpur, Dist. Subarnapur were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 3.3.2021 by the officers of Sambalpur Vigilance, Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir.
In course of search and inventory, Sri Santosh Kumar Sahu, Assistant Teacher has been found in possession of assets worth Rs.2,15,02,311/- (Rupees Two Crore Fifteen Lakhs Two Thousand Three Hundred Eleven) including two numbers of double-storey buildings, two numbers of single-storey buildings, eighteen numbers of plots, one four wheeler, one two wheeler, deposits in different Banks, investment in Insurance policies, gold ornaments, cash of about 3 Lakhs and household articles.
During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Sahu and his family members.

Thus, the total assets unearthed so far from the possession of Sri Santosh Kumar Sahu, Assistant Teacher and his family members have been calculated as Rs.2,15,02,311/- (Rupees Two Crore Fifteen Lakhs Two Thousand Three Hundred Eleven).
