EX-JUNIOR MVI, JAMSOLA CHECK GATE, DIST-MAYURBHANJ CONVICTED IN DISPROPORTIONATE ASSETS (DA) CASE.

                Cuttack,30/9/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )-    Today i.e. on 30.09.2022, Sri Rama Chandra Tudu, Ex-Junior MVI (Retired), Jamsola Check Gate, Dist-Mayurbhanj who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.14 dtd.28.03.2003 U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 for possession of disproportionate assets worth Rs.18,63,307/- (Rupees Eighteen Lakh Sixty-three Thousand Three Hundred Seven) to his known sources of income, was convicted by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and to pay fine of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand), and in default of payment of fine, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a further period of 3 months for the offence U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

Sri Anil Kumar Dash, Ex-Inspector, Vigilance Balasore Division had investigated the case and Sri S.K. Das, Spl. P.P, Vigilance Court, Baripada conducted the case on behalf of the prosecution.
