           Cuttack,21/9/2021 ( Odisha Samachar)-   In one more Vigilance Operation today, on getting reliable information regarding running of illegal two saw mills located at village Balakati and Hirapur under Balipatna Forest Range of Khordha Forest Division, a joint forest raid was conducted by the Forest Wing of Vigilance Directorate and Bhubaneswar Vigilance Division with the assistance of forest staff of Khordha Forest Division and local Police. During the raid, saw mill appliances along with timber worth Rs.6,34,025/- (Rupees Six Lakh Thirty-four Thousand Twenty-five) were detected and seized. In this connection, three nos. of forest cases vide OR Case No-1 BL & 2 BL of 2021-22 and UD Case No. 5 BL of 2021-22 were registered under Balipatna Forest Range U/s 4 of Orissa Saw Mill and Saw Pit (Control) Act 1991 and Rule 4 of Orissa Timber & other Forest Product Transit Rule, 198
