Bhubaneswar, 24/7/2021 ( Odisha Samachar)- With due approval of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sj Naveen Patnaik, Information and Public Relation Department , Odisha  has sanctioned ex-gratia  @ Rs 15 Lakh to 17 working journalists of the State who died of Covid19. It will be disbursed to the next of kin of the deceased journalists. Rs. 2.55 Cr has been sanctioned from Journalist Welfare Fund.

Out of 17 deceased Journalists 4 from Bhubaneswar, 3 from Bolangir,7 from Ganjam, 2 from Jajpur and One from Kalahandi District.
