Bhubaneswar, 22/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )- : Odisha registered four more COVID-19 deaths and 319 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
The COVID death toll of the state now stands at 1,843.
The deceased have been identified as a 70-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension, a 72-year-old male of Jajpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension, a 77-year-old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Chronic Liver Disease & cerebrovascular accident and a 52-year-old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
The positive cases are from Angul: 35, Balasore: 10, Bargarh: 6, Bhadrak: 7, Balangir: 15, Cuttack: 10, Deogarh: 2, Dhenkanal: 3, Ganjam: 6, Jagatsinghpur: 7, Jajpur: 11, Jharsuguda: 1, Kalahandi: 5, Kandhamal: 1, Kendrapada: 11, Keonjhar: 10, Khurda: 23, Malkangiri: 3, Mayurbhanj: 19, Nabarangpur: 4, Nayagarh: 1, Nuapada: 8, Puri: 24, Rayagada: 1, Sambalpur: 19, Sundargarh: 72 and State Pool: 5.
The positive tally surged to 3,26,915.
