Bhubaneswar – 14/05/2025( Odisha Samachar / Dipti Ranjan Kanungo )-Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute, under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, successfully hoisted a 2-day Professional Pre-Programme (3P) Knowledge Sharing Workshop on May 14-15, 2025, for working professionals from Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India Ltd., Paradeep, Odisha. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. U.S.R. Raju (Plant Head, AMNS) and Mrs. Supriya Swain (DGM, HR).
The workshop covered key topics including Mineral Processing, Energy Scenario, and BIS and HS Codes.
Expert speakers delivered insightful sessions:
– Dr. Santanu Mandal (Assistant Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar) and Ms. Shaswoti Mohanty (Young Professional, BPNSI) discussed Mineral Processing.
– Prof. Satyapriya Satapathy (Senior Assistant Professor, BPNSI) led an engaging session on Energy Scenario, Climate Change, and Decarbonization.
– Scientist Deepak Kumar Patra (BIS Regional Office Bhubaneswar) provided an overview of BIS and HS Codes.
