        5th “Hansadhwani” Music and Dance festival held

 This festival has its uniqueimportance    in bringing hidden talents to light and sharing the message of brotherhood

 Bhadrak/Bhubaneswar.26/02/2025 ( Odisha Samachar / Rajat Mohapatra )- The two-day-long cultural Mahakumbh”5th HansadhwaniMusic  and Dance Festival”organised under the aegis of SaraswatiSangeetMahavidyalaya, Mirzapur in Kamar village of BasudevpurBlock has been concluded on Sunday. On the first day of the festival, The President of the College, ShriManmath Kumar Agastipresided over the inaugural evening. Director of Rudraksha Foundation and eminent Odissi dance Guru ShriBichitrananda Swain, Director of VadyavaniGurukul, Guru ShriDhaneshwar Swain, Secretary of ‘BaiChadhai’ organization ShriVikash Kumar Satpathy and Film Director Shri Mahesh KumarHajra were present as guests.  Popular and successful film actress Namrata Dashwas felicitated with “DhruvSamman” of the occasion.

On the closing day function,including the President of the organization ShriAgasti, Music Director ShriBiswaswarupMohapatra, Litterateur Mr. SudhanshuShekhar Mishra and Culture LoverMr. Bijoy Kumar Biswal were present and said that this Cultural Mahakumbh organized inrural area is playing a unique role in bringing hidden talents to light and also sharing the message of brotherhood.

The two-day function held was anchored by Dr. ShrinibasGhatuari (Milan). Shri Manish Agasti introduced guests while international Odissi dancer Shri Sameer Panigrahi thanked everyone for participating in the programme. Many dancers, including PaikaAkhada of Khordha, Chhau dance of Mayurbhanj, Odissi dance by Sasmita Panda were performed in the programme. Mridanga playing, mardala, tabla, Hindustani, Odissi vocal music and Sambalpuri dances were also enjoyed by the audience.
