Khordha ,2/2/2025 ( Odisha Samachar )-Nehru Yuva Kendra Khordha, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India; is conducting the Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme was inaugurated on02.02.2025 at Institute of Hotel Management under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
During this Programme NYKS Odisha and NYK Khordhawill host 27 youth from Andhra Pradesh for 05 days. The youth are coming from 05 Districts of Andhra Pradesh i.e., Prakasham, Chittor, Kakinada, Guntur and Vijayawada. During these 05 days they shall explore the culture, tradition and other aspect of Odisha, made aware of various development schemes by the Government. They will also have 02-day visit where in one day they will explore the local area and various historical sites.
The main objective of this Programme is to sensitize our Youth with the rich cultural heritage of India, enable them to appreciate the Unity in diversity, expose them to development activities and industrial advancement, help emotional linkages with their peer groups in the country and enhance their self-esteem. This will be great opportunity for them to learn new things and explore new ideas and lifestyle.
This Programme will be conducted by Nehru Yuva Kendra Khordha with support from NYKS Odisha State Office. Institute of Hotel Management under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India is also to be thanked for its contribution as being accepting our request to be the Host Venue. Sh.ShivajiMuralidharKharat, Regional Director, Eastern Region, NYKS graced the event as the Chief Guest. Sh. SabitSuman, HOD-I, Institute of Hotel Management, Bhubaneswar and Sh. Avinash Das, National Youth Awardee graced the event as Hon’ble Guest in the inaugural ceremony. The Programme iscoordinatedby Sh. Vipin Kumar, District Youth Officer, Khordha, Sh. SuvendranathSahoo, Accountant, Khordha and Sh. KulamaniMallick of NYK Khordha.
