Nuapada/Bhubaneswar 25/01/2025 ( Odisha Samachar/ Rajat Mohapatra)-Higher Education Minister Shri Suryabanshi Suraj laid the foundation stone for a Rs 5 crore project under the PM-USHA scheme at Khariar Autonomous College today aimed at enhancing educational infrastructure and fostering quality education.
Minister Shri Suraj said, Our goal is to bring a transformative change in higher education by strengthening the foundation of colleges and universities to ensure students receive quality education.
On his two-day visit to Nuapada, Shri Suraj also inaugurated newly constructed academic facilities built with the assistance from the World Bank.
The event marked a historic occasion as the visit of a Higher Education Minister to the college came after 47 years, filling the campus with enthusiasm among students and faculty.
During his visit, Minister Shri Suraj interacted with college authorities to discuss overall development and motivated students to aspire for excellence.
MLA, Khariar Shri Adhiraj Panigrahi, Former MP Shri Basant Kumar Panda, College Principal Shri Prashant Kumar Panda were also present in today’s event.
As part of his two-day visit to Nuapada, Today Minister Shri Suraj participated in a grievance hearing, attended a local cricket tournament to encourage young athletes and joined other district-level programs.
