Bhubaneswar,17/01/2025( Odisha Samachar / Rajat Mohapatra):With an aim to strengthen the Vector Borne Disease Control Program in the State, the Directorate of Public Health, NVBDCP in collaboration with PATH-CHRI (Centre for Health Research and Innovation) are organizing a three-day training program for entomologists and insect collectors from both district and state units.

The training comprised a combination of brainstorming sessions, theoretical learning, and field exposure, aimed at further enhancing the skillset of entomologists and insect collectors to strengthen the program’s overall effectiveness including strengthening Entomological Surveillance in the costal state of Odisha.

Experts of the field imparted training to the entomologists and insect collectors in the august presence of Director Health Service Dr Bijay Mohapatra, Director, Public Health Dr Nilakantha Mishra; Senior Regional Director, RoH & FW, Govt. of India Dr Suchitra Sasmal, Additional Director,  Health Services (Vector-Borne Disease), Odisha Dr Prabhakar Sahu and other senior officials.
