Cuttack/Bhubaneswar, 01/02/2023 (Odisha Samachar)- Justice JP Das, a retired judge of the Odisha High Court, will oversee the investigation into the shooting death of Nabakishore Das ( Health Minister of Odisha ). A policeman is involved in this incident. The investigation requires utmost transparency and commitment. The state government wrote a letter to the Odisha High Court Registrar asking that a working judge or a retired judge or a district judge be given the responsibility to supervise the investigation. Justice JP Das has been given the responsibility after the request of the state government. The crime branch continues to investigate the case. All criminal investigation reports will be handed over to Justice JP Das. Justice JP Das can advise the Crime Branch to investigate any missing aspects of the investigation. The crime branch will proceed on the basis of the advice given by Justice JP Das.
