Bhubaneswar, 31/01/2023 (Odisha Samachar) – Minister Navkishore Das was shot dead. The state government has written a letter to the Odisha High Court to oversee the investigation process. The home department has written to the High Court registrar requesting that a serving judge or a retired judge or a district judge be given the responsibility of supervising the investigation. This is a very touching event. It involves a police officer. Therefore, it is necessary to bring the highest transparency in the investigation. Therefore, the state government has sought the intervention of the High Court in this matter. On the other hand, the crime branch is continuing to investigate the case.
