ASSETS WORTH CRORES INCLUDING 2 MULTI STOREYED BUILDINGS, 3 RESIDENTIAL HOUSES, 21 PLOTS, BANK & INSURANCE DEPOSITS WORTH OVER RS.37.68 LAKHS, 3 FOUR WHEELERS, 2 TRACTORS, 2 TRAILERS, 3 TWO WHEELERS, ETC UNEARTHED IN HOUSE SEARCH OF ADDITIONAL TAHASILDAR, TANGARPALI, DIST-SUNDARGARH.

Cuttack,21/9/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )-On the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income, simultaneous house searches have been launched on the properties of Sri Kulamani Patel, ORS, Additional Tahasildar, Tangarpali, Dist-Sundargarh today i.e. on 21.09.2022 at 8 places in Sundargarh district i.e;

• Triple storeyed residential building over plot No.1593/1666 & 2666/4073, Khata No.235/633, Mouza-Lephripada, Dist-Sundargarh.
• Double storeyed residential building over plot No.561/4695 & 561/3937/4945, Khata No.427/312, Mouza-Chitabhanga, Sundargarh town, Dist-Sundargarh.
• 3 numbers of residential houses over plot No.1482, Khata No.108, Mouza-Dumarbahal, PS-Lephripada, Dist-Sundargarh.
• Residential houses over ancestral land, Khata No.108, Plot No.1481, Mouza-Dumarbahal, PS-Lephripada, Dist-Sundargarh.
• Residential houses at Mouza-Dumarbahal, PS-Lephripada, Dist-Sundargarh.
• House of relative at Chitabhanga, Sundargarh Town, Dist-Sundargarh.
• Office chamber of his spouse at Primary School at Sipukachhar, PS-Lephripada, Dist-Sundargarh.
• Office chamber of Sri Patel, Addl. Tahasildar at Tahasil Office, Tangarpali, Dist-Sundargarh.

8 teams of Odisha Vigilance led by 4 DSsP, 10 Inspectors, 4 ASIs and other staff conducted the search on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh.

During house searches so far, the following movable and immovable assets worth Crores have been unearthed in the name of Sri Kulamani Patel, Additional Tahasildar and his family members;

• One triple storeyed residential building over plot No.1593/1666 & 2666/4073, Khata No.235/633, Mouza-Lephripada, Dist-Sundargarh worth approx Rs.1 Crore. (Picture given below).

• One double storeyed building over plot No.561/4695 & 561/3937/4945, Khata No.427/312, Mouza-Chitabhanga, Sundargarh town, Dist-Sundargarh worth over Rs.46.29 Lakhs. (Picture given below).

• 3 numbers of residential houses over plot No.1482, Khata No.108, Mouza-Dumarbahal, PS-Lephripada, Dist-Sundargarh.

Vigilance Technical Wing is carrying out detailed measurement of above buildings and valuation may increase further.

• 21 numbers of plots in prime area of Sundargarh district. The measurement and valuation/assessment of the plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.                                                         
• Bank & Insurance deposits worth over Rs.37.68 Lakhs.
• 3 four wheelers (Mahindra Bolero Camper, Mahindra Commander & Mahindra Bolero) worth Rs.14.48 Lakhs.
• 2 Tractors and 2 Trailers (Mahindra 295 DI Turbo, Mahindra B275 DI Turbo) worth Rs.14 Lakhs.
• 3 two wheelers worth over Rs.2.44 Lakhs.
• Cash, gold & silver ornament and household articles worth over Rs.7.81 Lakh.

Sri Kulamani Patel, ORS, Additional Tahasildar is being examined to ascertain source of the assets. Further searches are continuing. Unearthing of more assets is likely and overall valuation is likely to increase.
