Cuttack,11/8/2021 ( Odisha Samachr)-On the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income, simultaneous house searches have been launched on the properties of Shri Khsetrabasi Mahanta, Senior Technical Consultant, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Joda Block, Dist-Keonjhar at 4 places in Keonjhar district today i.e. on 10.08.2021 by 4 teams of Balasore Vigilance Division comprising 2 DSsP, 4 Inspectors and other staff.

1 double storeyed building and 1 plot at Pabitradiha Kamargadia, Keonjhar, 2 nos of buses, 3 nos of four wheelers, 1 two wheeler, Insurance deposits over Rs.66 lakh, Bank deposits over Rs.2.42 lakh and other movable and immovable properties, all totalling to over Rs 2.04 crore have been unearthed during the house search till now.

Further searches are continuing.
