Cuttack,29/01/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On getting reliable information regarding running of one illegal saw mill at Mukulishi, PS-Basta, Dist. Balasore, today i.e. on 29.1.2021, a joint forest raid was conducted by the Forest Wing of Balasore Vigilance Division with the assistance of local Police and local forest staff of Balasore Wild Life Division under Chandipur Wild Life range, Balasore. During the raid, saw mill accessories along with 49.84 Cft. timber worth Rs.5,20,900/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred)  was detected and seized. In this connection, two forest cases vide OR Case No-53CH of 2020-21 and UD Case No-16CH of 2020-21 have been registered under Chandipur Wild Life range, Balasore for further legal action.
