Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar reopens for city residents

Bhubaneswar, 02/01/2021 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )- The Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar reopened for city residents on Sunday.

Those visiting the temple will have to produce COVID negative reports obtained during the last five days.

From January 3 to 5, the temple will remain open for citizens of Bhubaneswar with strict COVID-19 safety restrictions.

From January 6, tourists and devotees from different parts of the country will be allowed inside the temple with strict observance of COVID-19 safety protocol.

At one point of time, a maximum of 500 devotees will be allowed from Singhadwar to Ada Katha till January 31.

Servitors of the temple and their families were allowed to have darshan of Lord Lingaraj in the first phase between December 27 and 31.
