Odisha reports four COVID-19 deaths & 251 fresh positive cases

Bhubaneswar, 02/01/2021 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )- Odisha reported four more COVID-19 deaths and 251 fresh positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The COVID death toll now stands at 1880.

The deceased have been identified as a 41-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, an 80-year-old male of Balangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension, a 94-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease and a 60-year-old male of Khordha district.

The positive cases are from Angul: 31, Balasore: 8, Bargarh: 15, Bhadrak: 1, Balangir: 13, Boudh: 3, Cuttack: 4, Deogarh: 4, Ganjam: 3, Jagatsinghpur: 2, Jajpur: 14, Jharsuguda: 13, Kendrapada: 8, Khurda: 14, Koraput: 5, Mayurbhanj: 4, Nayagarh: 1, Nuapada: 23, Puri: 12, Sambalpur: 35, Sonepur: 1, Sundargarh: 34 and State Pool: 3.

The total number of positive cases of the state rose to 330117.
