The deceased have been identified as a 58-year-old female of Balasore district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Hypothyroidism, a 55-year-old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, a 57-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and a 71-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Ischemic Heart Disease.
The COVID death toll of the state now stands at 1, 857.
The positive cases are from Angul: 23, Balasore: 18, Bargarh: 10, Bhadrak: 10, Balangir: 27, Boudh: 2, Cuttack: 26, Deogarh: 1, Dhenkanal: 1, Gajapati: 1, Ganjam: 5, Jagatsinghpur: 3, Jajpur: 13, Jharsuguda: 14, Kalahandi: 5, Kandhamal: 1, Kendrapada: 16, Keonjhar: 5, Khurda: 30, Koraput: 1, Mayurbhanj: 20, Nayagarh: 1, Nuapada: 13, Puri: 1, Rayagada: 9, Sambalpur: 30, Sonepur: 1, Sundargarh: 40 and State Pool: 7.
The total number of positive cases of the state surged to 3, 28, 201.
