Niali/Bhubaneswar, 26/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )-  The Cuttack district administration on Saturday declared Nuasahi village under Patasundarpur panchayat of the district as a containment zone for ten days starting today.

The decision was taken after 14 persons of the village tested positive for COVID-19 and one of them succumbed to the virus.

As per the order, vehicular and public movements to and from the containment zone will be prohibited during the period. The inhabitants of the area have been asked to remain indoors.

The district administration will make arrangements to supply medicines and essential items to the residents at their doorsteps.
