ONE MORE CASE INSTITUTED BY ODISHA VIGILANCE AGAINST SRI KISHORE KUMAR SAHANI, SR.ASSISTANT, CITY HOSPITAL, OFFICE OF CDMO, CUTTACK FOR EMBEZZLEMENT OF GOVT FUNDS OVER RS.1.24 CRORE AND REMANDED TO JAIL CUSTODY TILL 16.09.2025.
SRI SAHANI ARRESTED BY ODISHA VIGILANCE ON 23.08.2025 IN DA CASE FOR POSSESSING DA OVER 201% BEYOND HIS KNOWN SOURCES OF INCOME.
Cuttack, 3/9/2025 ( Odisha Samachar )- One more case was instituted against Sri Kishore Kumar Sahani, Sr. Assistant, City Hospital, O/o CDMO, Cuttack by Odisha Vigilance vide Cuttack Vigilance PS. Case No 24/21.08.2025 U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c) of PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 for misappropriation of Govt. funds (User collection money) to the tune of Rs.1,24,15, 854/- by Sri Sahani during his tenure at City Hospital, Cuttack and remanded to Jail custody till 16.09.2025.
It is pertinent to mention here that he has misappropriated above amount by non-deposit of Govt. money, fraudulent withdrawl of money from Govt. Account, transfer of funds from Govt. Account to personal accounts of himself and family members, and such other means.
On 23.08.2025, Sri Sahani was arrested by Odisha Vigilance and forwarded to the Hon’ble Court of Spl. Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack for possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to the tune of 201% of his known sources of income, which he failed to explain satisfactorily.
In this connection, Odisha Vigilance has registered case against Sri Sahani and his spouse vide Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No.25 dated 23.08.2025, U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(b)/12 PC (Amendment)Act, 2018.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
