EVER GREEN FORUM successfully organised Odisha Women’s Conclave, 2024-25 at JayadevBhawan, Bhubaneswar. SmtSulochana Das,Hon’ble Mayor of BMC joined as Chief Guest of the conclave. Dr.Subhashree Nanda,IAS, Special Secretary to School & Mass Education Dept. & Chairperson of CHSE, Govt.of Odisha, Prof(Dr.)Padmaja Mishra, former Vice Chancellor, Rama Devi Women’s University joined as Guest of Honour. All the guests highlighted the power of women in the society. A souvenir MAMATA was released by guests on this occasion.Dr Sanjukta Sahoo, chairperson of Conclave presided this event.Dr.Snigdharani Behera, Convener of the conclave gave the keynote of the event. Dr Millee Panigrahi, Vice President of EGF gave welcome address while Dr Suchismita Rout gave vote of thanks. One Expo and one reels making competition were organised on this occasion.
UNDP State Head Dr.Abha Mishra, Crime Branch ASP AnjanaTudu, Former WSRC Director Dr Urmimala Das and KIIT Professor Dr ManjushaPandey gave popular talks on different topics. Two panel discussions were moderated by Supriya Dash on the theme “Women’s Power: A New Horizon for Society”. All the panellists putted their views in the panel discussion. The panellists were Dr.MinatiBehera,Ex-Chairperson, Odisha State Commission for Women; SmtRenupravaNayak, OAS (SAG), Registrar, OUTR; Dr.AiswaryaBiswal, President, BJP MahilaMorcha, Odisha; Adv. Prof. (Dr.) Jayanti Dora,Director, School of Women’s Studies, Utkal University; SmtSnigdhaPanigrahi,Ex-Member, Odisha State Commission for Women, Dr.PratimaSarangi,Associate Professor & Head, Public Administration, UtkalUniversity; SmtAnamika Das,Joint Secretary & Administrative Officer, Odisha Bharat Scouts & Guides; Swati Das,Senior Software Engineer & Mental Health Ally, Accenture India .
In the closing ceremony, Dr ManoramaMohanty, Director, IMD, Bhubaneswar attended as Chief Guest. Among others, Dr Madhumita Das, Ex-Vice Chancellor, FM University and Dr PrasannaPati, Director, Indus College of Engineering attended as Guests of Honour. Ten students were awrded with Jhansi Rani LaxmibaiPrativaPuraskar by guests.
At the end,Dr.SunitaBarik, co-convenor Conclave proposed the vote of thanks. About 400 participants from different institutions participated in the event,Dr.PriyambadaMohapatra, Er. SushreeSudesna Ashe,Dr.SubhashreeDarshana,Dr.TulishreePradhan cooperated for the success of the event.
