Bhubaneswar, 15/1/2024 ( Odisha Samachar / Rajat Mohapatra) : The Institute of Philosophy of Nature (IPN) was formed in January 2023. The institute aims to develop a comprehensive unified understanding of nature by exploring harmony among different sciences (Vedic science, spiritual science, and modern science). “Towards Unification of Sciences” is a unique quarterly journal published by the institute. The first issue was published in April 2023. The July and October issues of the journal were released at the Institute of Physics. Journal articles focus on consistency and uniformity. Different explorers of nature attempt to understand different aspects ofnature by making different assumptions. For all explorers, nature remains the same – it cannot be different.
To explore nature’s reality, we have Indian Vedic, Spiritual, and Modern sciences. Vedic science deals with both spiritual and material sciences. Transcendental spiritual realism (experiences through super consciousness of mind) is the basis of spiritual science, followed by modern science, the science of matter, developed through theory and experience. Spiritualism is about the inner world, while science is about the outer world. Science explores nature’s truths. Science explores different aspects of nature by pursuing different paths (different approaches with different basic assumptions). Explorers cannot see nature differently. Different aspects of nature are inherently harmonious. By integrating the values of different explorers of nature, a comprehensive understanding of nature can be gained. By harmonizing the basic assumptions and unifying aspect-based knowledge, integration of different knowledge systems is possible. Establishing a uniform norm of nature contradicts established concepts of modern science. This is a natural phenomenon.
However, acceptance of a new concept should not be done by a vote, by selection, or by force. The original concept should stand on its merits. Based on the change from a geocentric to heliocentric solar system, this is understandable.
