Cuttack,24/8/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )- Today i.e. on 24.08.2022, Sri Sangram Keshari Pattnaik, Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Loisngha Police Station, Dist-Bolangir has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) from a complainant (licensed foreign liquor shop owner) to not take any adverse action against him and his liquor business.istanbul escort marmaris escort bodrum escort fethiye escort didim escort bodrum escort
Based on the above complaint, a trap was laid on 24.08.2022, wherein the accused Sri Sangram Keshari Pattnaik, IIC was caught by the team of Odisha Vigilance in his office chamber at Loisingha PS while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) from the complainant. The entire bribe money was recovered from the possession of Sri Pattnaik and seized in presence of witnesses. Both hands wash as well as pant pocket wash of Sri Pattnaik gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him. Following the trap, simultaneous searches have been launched on the Govt. quarter of Sri Pattnaik at Loisngha, Dist-Bolangir and his office chamber at Loisngha Police Station.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.29 dated 23.08.2022 U/s 7 PC Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered and is under investigation.
