Cuttack,27/4/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )-   Today i.e on 27.04.2022, the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Special Court, Bhubaneswar convicted Sri Gangadhar Sahoo, Ex-Executive Engineer, CADA-I, Bhubaneswar in connection with Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No.10 dated.09.03.1984 U/s 5(2) r/w 5(1)(e) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 registered against Sri Gangadhar Sahoo, Ex-E.E. for possession of disproportionate assets worth Rs.4,06,220/- (Rupees Four Lakh Six Thousand Two Hundred Twenty) to his known sources of income and sentenced him to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for a period of 2 years and to pay fine of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand), and in default of payment of fine, to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for a further period of 3 months for the offence U/s 5(2) r/w 5(1)(e) P.C. Act, 1947.

Sri B.B. Mohapatra, Ex-DSP, Vigilance, Cuttack Division had investigated the case and Sri Ajit Kumar Pattnaik, P.P, Spl Court, Bhubaneswar conducted the case on behalf of the prosecution.
