Cuttack,7/4/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On getting reliable information regarding illegal hoarding of timber at village Pattaguda, PS-Baipariguda, Dist. Koraput, joint forest raid was conducted by the Vigilance Forest Unit of Koraput Division on 6.4.2021 along with the assistance of local forest staff of Baipariguda Range under Jeypore Forest Division. During the raid, 47.32 Cft. Piasal round logs worth Rs.1,18,300/- (Rupees One Lakh Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred) were seized. In this connection, one forest case vide OR Case No- 2B of 2021-22 was registered for violation of Rule 4 & 12 of Orissa Timber & Other Forest Produce Transit Rules, 1980 for further legal action.
