Cuttack,29/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Dipti Ranjan Kanungo )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Kailash Chandra Mohanty, Laboratory Assistant, Chikiti College, Chikiti, Dist. Ganjam, his (1) residential flat at Berhampur, (2) flat at Gandhi Nagar, Berhampur, (3) flat at BJB Nagar, Bhubaneswar, (4) house at native village Chikitigada, Dist. Ganjam, (5) house of relative at Chikitigada, Dist. Ganjam, and (6) office room at Chikiti College, Chikiti, Dist. Ganjam were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 29.12.2020 by the officers of Vigilance, Berhampur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.
In course of search and inventory, Sri Kailash Chandra Mohanty, Laboratory Assistant was found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,45,00,837/- (Rupees One Crore Forty-five Lakhs Eight Hundred Thirty-seven) including three numbers of flats, one single-storied building, three numbers of plots, one four wheeler, one tipper truck, one tractor, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different banks & post offices, gold & silver ornaments, cash and household articles.
During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Mohanty and his family members.

| 9. | Gold& silver ornaments. | Rs. | 2,19,229/- |

| Total | Rs. | 1,45,00,837/- |
Thus, the total assets of Sri Kailash Chandra Mohanty, Laboratory Assistant and his family members have been calculated as Rs.1,45,00,837/- (Rupees One Crore Forty-five Lakhs Eight Hundred Thirty-seven).
