Odisha registers five more COVID-19 deaths, 343 new positive cases

Bhubaneswar, 10/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )-  Odisha registered five more COVID-19 deaths and 343 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The COVID death toll now stands at 1,794.

The deceased have been identified as a 70-year-old female of Balangir district, a 53-year-old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Rheumatic heart disease, a 70-year-old male of Keonjhar district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension, a 70-year-old female of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and a 66-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

The positive cases are from Angul: 32, Balasore: 17, Bargarh: 18, Bhadrak: 4, Balangir: 19, Cuttack: 21, Dhenkanal: 3, Ganjam: 8, Jagatsinghpur: 13, Jajpur: 8, Jharsuguda: 8, Kalahandi: 10, Kendrapada: 8, Keonjhar: 14, Khurda: 32, Koraput: 1, Malkangiri: 5, Mayurbhanj: 20, Nayagarh: 2, Nuapada: 12, Puri: 22, Rayagada: 2, Sambalpur: 15, Sonepur: 1, Sundargarh: 41 and State Pool: 7.

The positive tally of the state rose to 3,22,642
