Men’s & Women’s Football Matches and Athletic Events Conducted
Sambalpur, 14/1/2026 ( Odisha Samachar)-A two-day District Level Sports Meet 2025–26 was successfully organized on 12th and 13th January 2026 at Dhankauda Field, Sambalpur. The event was organized by Gengutipali FC in collaboration with Mera Yuva Bharat, Sambalpur.
The sports meet featured men’s and women’s football matches along with various athletic events, witnessing enthusiastic participation from youth and sports clubs across the district.
Noted social worker Shri Rajendra Satnami attended the programme as the chief guest and encouraged the youth to adopt sports as a means of discipline, unity, and a healthy lifestyle.
The entire event was overall coordinated by Shri Prayash Kumar Sarap of Mera Yuva Bharat, Sambalpur, who emphasized the role of sports in youth empowerment and nation building.
The programme was successfully supported by Mera Yuva Bharat Sambalpur volunteers including Rinku Mahakur, Sahil Das, Sushant Kumar Kewat, and Masud Alam, whose dedication ensured smooth conduct of the event.
The sports meet created a positive atmosphere and inspired young participants to actively engage in sports and physical fitness.
