The tournament opener featured a high-voltage clash between East Bengal FC and Kerala Blasters FC, with Kerala Blasters FC emerging victorious in this thrilling match.

The opening match was graced by Deputy Chief Minister, Odisha Smt. Pravati Parida, Sports Minister Shri Suryabanshi Suraj and Ekamra MLA Shri Babu Singh. They extended their best wishes to the players and boosted their morale with their presence and encouragement.

Football fans turned up in large numbers at the Kalinga Stadium today, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The spectators thoroughly enjoyed the match and cheered enthusiastically for their favourite teams, making the opening day a grand success.
