Students will study in a school from ninth to twelfth

Bhubaneswar, 03/08/2022 (Odisha Samachar) – Plus two courses will be started in high school. Students will study in one school from ninth to twelfth. For this, 57 high schools of the state will be upgraded. The central government has sanctioned the funds. From the next academic year, children will study in these 57 high schools. But now infrastructure is being prepared only for arts courses. Currently there are no plans for Commerce and Science courses. This will be considered later. The central government has approved the upgrading of 57 schools in the state under the system of starting secondary education in high schools as per the national education policy. Based on this, the school is being upgraded in the current academic year 2022-23. For this, the central government has given 91 lakh rupees to each school to develop infrastructure. Among them, 6 high schools in Balangir, 4 in Devagarh, 8 in Ganjam, 1 in Jagatsinghpur, 7 in Kalahandi, 2 in Kandhamal, 3 in Keonjhar, 5 in Malkangir, 1 in Mayurbhanj, 5 in Nabarangpur, 1 in Nayagarh, 4 in Nuapada, 4 in Sambalpur and 6 in Sundergarh have been identified to be upgraded. Infrastructure will be developed in all these high schools. Two arts courses will be started here along with 9th and 10th.
