Jagatsinghpur, 03/08/2022 (Odisha Samachar)- As per the instructions of Odisha Government Health and Family Welfare Department, Jagatsinghpur District Health Society celebrated the World Breastfeeding Week – 2022 at the conference hall of the District Head Hospital. This year’s title is to promote breastfeeding widely, provide the necessary advice and support, said the district chief medical officer Dr. Dr. Dr. Rabindra Nath Pal, District Public Health Officer, ADMO Medical Dr. Nimayu Charan Naik, Dr. Rabindra Nath Pal, District Public Health Officer Dr. Shethrigan Das, Additional District Public Health Officer (Family Welfare) Dr. Pramod Kumar Barik, DPM Chakradhar Jena were prominently present. 
There is no substitute for breastfeeding. Mother Breastfeeding highlighted the many benefits to both the mother and child relationship. Conducting the program, Deputy Manager Reproductive and Child Health Sukant Kumar Pradhan expressed the opinion that if the mother is used properly, the child will breastfeed properly. Counseling services were discussed at home, in the doctor’s office, for the baby’s milk, after birth of the baby, only breast milk for 6 months, and after 6 months with home-made semi-liquid food with breast milk. ADPCHO Sahala Mohanty proposed the vote of thanks. The chairperson of the nursing school, students and all the aspirants from the urban area participated in this program.
