Puri , 23/5/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )- International Sand Artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has created a spectacular sand sculpture on the Golden Sea Beach of Puri near the lighthouse at baliapanda on the occasion of “World Schizophrenia Day”.

Mr.Manas has beautifully portrayed this year’s theme ”Connecting With Hope” through his Sand Art. The entire sand sculpture depicts the different states of a mentally unstable person who at times reflects anger, laughter, irritation, weeping etc . Through his Sand Art ,he has tried his best to convey that these patients can be cured if the family treats with patience in a timely manner..

The sand sculpture is 15 feet in width and about 12 tons of sand has been consumed. A message too has been carved in it which reads as “Connecting with Hope” and “World Schizophrenia Day”.
