Bhubaneswar,15 September 2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- Hindi Pakhwada Celebration is being organized at ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar from 14th to 28th September, 2020. Hindi Diwas celebrations and Hindi Pakhwada programme was inaugurated by Dr. P. Das, Principal Scientist and Director-in-Charge, ICAR-CIFA on September 14, 2021, In his address on the occasion of the inaugural function of Hindi Pakhwada, he stressed on the compliance of the policies of the official language by all the scientists, technical officers and other employees of the institute to promote the use of Hindi in the institute so that most of the office work can be done in the official language. He urged to use Hindi language as an effective medium to take the technology of CIFA to the masses so that our fish farmers can take maximum advantage of it.
On the occasion of Hindi Divas celebration and inauguration of Hindi Pakhwada programme (14 – 28 September 2021 ), Prof. Prakash Chandra Agrawal, Principal, Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar was invited as the chief guest speaker.While addressing the gathering, he stressed upon the use of Hindi as well as regional language in his daily work.
Hindi Diwas celebrations started with the ICAR song. Shri V Ganesh Kumar, Administrative Officer, ICAR-CIFA, presented the welcome address and in his address, he urged all the employees to use more and more techniques to make use of Hindi easily in office work.On this occasion, Shri I. B. Kumar, Senior administrative officer, ICAR-CIFA said in his address that on the occasion of Hindi Divas, we should take a pledge that we will continue to strive for the overall progress of Hindi.
During this 15-day event, various types of competitions such as debate, essay writing in Hindi, Hindi typing in Unicode on computer, self-written Hindi poetry recitation, Hindi aashubhashan, etc. are being organized to make people aware of doing official work in Hindi. An exhibition of books published by CIFA in Hindi is also organized in the library of the institute during the fortnight celebrations. A large number of scientific, technical officers, administrative officers of the institute participated in the Hindi Divas celebration program. The program was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr. Dhananjay Kumar Verma, in-charge Official language, ICAR-CIFA.
