Bhubaneswar, 31/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )- : Odisha government on Wednesday issued it’s Unlock 8 guidelines for the month of January, 2021.
As per the guidelines, cinema halls and theatres will be allowed to open with 50 percent capacity. International air travel, except as permitted by the Ministry of Home Affairs will continue to remain suspended till January 31.
Social/religious/sports and other gatherings shall be allowed with a ceiling of 200 persons. Anganwadi centres shall remain closed till January 31, 2021 and the arrangement for supply of ration to beneficiaries shall continue.
Local authority may permit public worship in religious places/places of worship with appropriate restrictions, based on local assessment of the situation with regard to spread of COVID-19 and in due consultation with relevant stakeholders, with observance of COVID safety protocol.
Open air theatres/entertainment parks shall be permitted by the local authorities (District Magistrate/Municipal Commissioner or offices authorised by them) to open subject to compliance of safety protocols such as mandatory wearing of masks, physical distancing, etc.
