The deceased have been identified as a 75-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes & Coronary Artery Disease, an 86-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Hypertension, Benign prostatic hyperplasia & Lower Respiratory Tract Infections, a 62-year-old female of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Hypertension and a 53-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
The COVID death toll of the state now stands at 1836.
The cases are from Angul: 50, Balasore: 15, Bargarh: 10, Balangir: 12, Boudh: 3, Cuttack: 26, Deogarh: 7, Dhenkanal: 2, Gajapati: 2, Ganjam: 3, Jagatsinghpur: 7, Jajpur: 10, Jharsuguda: 5 14. Kalahandi: 8 15. Kendrapada: 11 16. Keonjhar: 12 17. Khurda: 38 18. Koraput: 1 19. Malkangiri: 1 20. Mayurbhanj: 24 21. Nawarangpur: 4, Nayagarh: 3, Nuapada: 12, Puri: 28, Rayagada: 4, Sambalpur: 18, Sundargarh: 47 and State Pool: 9.
The total positive cases of the state surged to 326233.
