Odisha registers 5 more COVID-19 deaths, 407 new positive cases

Bhubaneswar, 16/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )-  Odisha registered 5 more COVID-19 deaths, 407 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The deceased have been identified a 57-year-old female of Angul district, a 65-year-old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Hypertension, a 44-year-old male of Bolangir district, a 72-year-old male of Cuttack district and a 65-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

The COVID death toll of the state now stands at 1820.

The positive cases belong to Angul: 60, Balasore: 14, Bargarh: 17, Bhadrak: 4, Balangir: 20, Boudh: 1, Cuttack: 25, Dhenkanal: 2, Gajapati: 6, Ganjam: 7, Jagatsinghpur: 6, Jajpur: 8, Jharsuguda: 7, Kalahandi: 6, Kandhamal: 1, Kendrapada: 9, Keonjhar: 6, Khurda: 46, Koraput: 7, Malkangiri: 4, Mayurbhanj: 24, Nayagarh: 2, Nuapada: 8, Puri: 18, Sambalpur: 26, Sundargarh: 62 and State Pool: 11.

 The positive tally of the state rose to 324796.
