The best way to get something done is to begin. Rightly so, in the upcoming episode of &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, the whole paltan unites to get Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) to do their work. It all begins when the Commissioner informs Happu and Manohar that their thane is now under tight scrutiny. A committee has been appointed to pay close attention to the work happening, hours of service, other duties followed by promoting and demoting officers accordingly. Worried about how this will affect him, like always Happu reaches out to his best friend Beni and comes up with a masterplan which is, saying that they are overworked at home. Happu on reaching home informs everyone that from now onwards, he will do all the housework while Kamlesh stands on guard. Tired and exhausted, in a conversation with Beni, Happu realizes that this was never their plan but, rather the Commissioner’s wife, Manohar’s wife, Mantri ji’s wife and Rajesh’s (Kamna Pathak) collective plan to get their husbands to contribute to the housework. Commenting on the brilliant plan, Kamna Pathak says, “Husbands often think that it is only the wife’s job to look into and manage the house. Because they are the breadwinners, wives are looked at as mere homemakers and their efforts are taken for granted. The upcoming episode will highlight this aspect, but will of course keep the comedy and hearty laughs very much a part of the plot.” Yogesh Tripathi goes on to add, “Today, in many households the roles are not defined but rather flexible. Both the husband and wife earn as well as run the house collectively. In the show, while it has been portrayed as the husbands use the household chores as an excuse to underperform at work, it is not this way. With this episode, we hope our viewers understand the true message behind it.”
