Sambalpur,14/2/2026 ( Odisha Samachar)- A thought-provoking youth dialogue titled ‘Samjho Toh Adda–3’ was successfully organised by Story4Change in collaboration with Commutiny – The Youth Collective, focusing on constitutional values and the philosophical foundations of India.
Held under the theme “A Broader Understanding of India,” the session aimed to strengthen constitutional awareness among young participants while promoting mutual respect and fraternity. The programme was facilitated by Masud Alam, who guided students through interactive discussions and experiential learning activities.
The event began with presentations of community tasks from the previous Adda, followed by a short mindfulness breathing exercise to enhance focus and participation. Ice-breaking games encouraged students to share personal and group experiences, fostering a sense of connection.
Music was creatively used as a medium of expression, with patriotic songs such as Ye Jo Des Hai Mera helping participants reflect on their emotional bond with the nation. The facilitator explained how music can bridge feelings with deeper social and philosophical ideas.
A key highlight was the discussion on the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. Through group activities like the “Snowball Method,” students collectively built a shared vision of India based on values such as democracy, secularism, and justice, later presenting their ideas in a structured “argument charter.”
In the concluding session, participants engaged in a spectrum-based debate on the sensitive issue of caste-based versus income-based reservation, learning how to express differing opinions respectfully while seeking common ground.
Overall, ‘Samjho Toh Adda–3’ provided a dynamic platform for youth to better understand India’s constitutional framework and social realities, nurturing informed, responsible, and empathetic citizens.
