Minister Gokulananda Mallik Emphasizes on Inter-Departmental Coordination & Mutual Cooperation
Polasara/Chhatrapur,10.02.2026( Odisha Samachar)- The Assembly Constituency Development Committee (ACDC) meeting of Polasara Assembly Constituency under Ganjam district was held today under the Chairmanship of Fisheries & Animal Resources Development and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Minister, Sri Gokulananda Mallik. The meeting included a review of various public welfare schemes being implemented by the Government in the Polasara Assembly Constituency, along with detailed discussions on future planning.
Minister Sri Mallik instructed all departments to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and to submit proposals outlining various projects, keeping in view the collective needs of the people of Polasara Assembly Constituency, for its overall development. He also laid emphasis on giving priority to proper inter-departmental coordination and mutual cooperation, and highlighted the role of Polasara in achieving the goals of Viksit Odisha and Viksit Bharat.
The District Collector, Ganjam, Sri V Kirti Vasan, urged the district-level officers to apprise the Committee regarding the action taken/compliance reports on the decisions adopted in the previous Assembly Constituency Development Committee meeting held on August 16, 2024. Reiterating the directions of the Minister Sri Mallik, he emphasized the successful implementation of all government schemes and the expeditious execution of development projects.
Detailed discussions were held in the meeting on department-wise development and welfare schemes and programmes.
The Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ganjam, Sri Bijaya Kumar Behera, in his welcome address, briefed the meeting about the objectives and agenda of the Assembly Constituency Development Committee meeting.
The Chairperson, Polasara Block, Smt. Kalpana Pradhan, and the Sub-Collector, Chhatrapur, Sri Sibasish Barala, attended the meeting. The Joint Director Sri Ashok Kumar Das, Assistant Director Sri Jagannath Biswal, Senior Economic Officer Sri Indrajit Mallick, along with other officials, coordinated the meeting.
Officials from the departments of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment; Fisheries & Animal Resources Development; Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises; Health & Family Welfare; School & Mass Education; Higher Education; Works; Rural Development; Water Resources; Drinking Water; Energy; Women & Child Development; Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities; Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes; Labour & Employees’ State Insurance; Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare; and Urban Development were present and presented their respective departmental action plans and future programmes.
