Bhubaneswar, 18/11/2025 ( Odisha Samachar/Rajat Mohapatra)-The Ekamrahat Amphitheatre came alive as the youngest stars took the centre stage through a delightful ‘Fancy Dress’ contest. The awareness message by the little children on different social and environmental issues such as child labour, child marriage, water conservation, plantation, pollution, nutrition, and fast food attracted the attention of the audience. The esteemed panels of judges for this enchanting day of performances were, Annapurna Mohanty, Samita Panda, Nalini Pradhan& Pratima Nalini Pati. They inspired the children and wished for a better future for them.
The guests of the evening Sujata Nayak, Member, OSCPCR, Khordha,& Antaryami Panda, Senior Artist encouraged the children in their speech. The winner of the Fine Art competition received the prize. The presence of the renowned personalities inspired both the artist and audience equally.A special programme “Sisumela Connect – Interface and Interaction- Agami Pidhi Sahita Alochana” was held on this occasion, where the guest interacted with the children. In this program, eminent personalities from various fields gave their messages to the children and mentioned how Sishu Mela has created a history for the participation of children. The children asked various questions and got answers.
Among other Mr. Pradosh Pattnaik, Chairman, PECUC Sisumela Committee, Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mohanty, Secretary PECUC, Mrs. Anuradha Mohanty, Executive Director, PECUC were also present on the occasion. Mrs. Ratna Dash, Jyotishankar Mohanty, Lakhmikant, Parikhita, Panu Behera etc. of PECUC conducted the programme.
