Bhubaneswar- 04/07/2025( Odisha Samachar / Rajat Mohapatra)- An one day Seminar on Child Rights and Life Skills Education was organized in Dhauli College of Art and Craft by Ekata Trust.
In this programme, former Child Welfare Committee member Mrs. Kanta Mohanty and former Juvenile Justice Board member Mr. Ashok Behera were present. They discussed in detail with the students about the rights of children to education, safety, love, and respect, emphasizing how essential these are for the physical, mental, and emotional development of children.
On the topic of life skills education for children, Smt Kanta Mohanty spoke to the students about making correct decisions in practical life, maintaining patience during difficult times, building good relationships with others, and enhancing self-confidence.
This programme was presided over and conducted by Ekata Trust Managing Trustee Mr. Rabi Maharana and the agenda of the meeting along with a session on child rights was presented by the Chairman Of Ekta Trust Eng Diptirekha Pattnaik. Among others, Dhauli College Secretary Mr. Ravi Shankar Das and the Principal of DCAC Mr. Panchanan Samal were present in the Seminar.
