Bhubaneswar,01/05/2025 ( Odisha Samachar / Rajat Mohapatra )-A meeting was held today under the Chairpersonship of the Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary to Government,Smt. Anu Garg,IASat Lokseva Bhawanto discuss the Annual Action Plan and strategies for making the governance process more effective, simple, delayered, and focused on expeditious delivery. Senior officers of the Planning & Convergence Department attended the meeting.
In the meeting, the timelines for preparation of Annual Action Plan for FY 2025-26 in respect of Local area and Regional Development Schemes like MPLADS, MLALADS, KBK Bikas Yojana, Kandhamal o Gajapati Bikas Yojana of the Department were discussed. It was also agreed to make the monitoring mechanism for implementation of DMF robust and strengthen its governance system.
The officers have been deliberated on identifying strategies to overhaul existing processes, eliminating redundancies, simplifying governance thereby enhancingefficiency and effective governance.
