These are not just numbers but a testament to the determination, resilience, and talent that exists within our rural women, particularly those from remote and tribal areas. Our approach to women’s economic empowerment encompasses not only financial aid but also extensive capacity building, skill enhancement, financial literacy, and market linkages. Each story, each success, each household changed is a beacon of hope, illuminating a path toward a self-reliant and economically prosperous Odisha.
For capturing the income details of the identified potential Lakpati Didis Government of India has developed a MIS application and web portal known as LokOS. The data is being captured by concerned Community Resource Person at village level and verified by concerned Block Program Manager at Block level.
In a remarkable achievement, Odisha has secured second position in the country in successfully implementing Lakhpati Didi initiatives.
This is a testimony of state governments commitment towards socio economic development of women in Odisha.
